Snip Snip

With this drawing I was thinking about gender transformation and gender signifiers. I thought it was funny/interesting how the cut hair was falling onto his chest and making chest hair. Also I placed the scissors on the chest to talk about surgery (duh) and the feels good is obvi. I was also into the double mirrors, I feel the self inspection when I look at my trans body in front of a mirror, and then I feel the microscopic public mirror when I step out my door, and these things all float around my head while I'm getting dressed, cutting my hair, or doing other gender loaded things.
